Martinex1: I am keeping it simple and relaxing a bit myself today. Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!. Enjoy the day and enjoy the family. Here are a few comic strips mirroring the theme of the day. Cheers all!

Very nice Father's Day at the HB Household.
HBGirl experimented with a sumptuous Vegan chocolate french toast for breakfast (new favorite breakfast food).
She and I helped cover for missing volunteers at a monthly church lunch for food-challenged folks in my wife's church community. I grilled about 40 hamburgers and 60 hot dogs-- and thus had a tasty cook-out type lunch as a side-benefit.
HBgirl picked up a pet bunny as a sort of long-term pet-sitter for one of those folks-- and we have fallen utterly in love with it already.
Went up to Baltimore where we had an early dinner at a nice restaurant called MAIZEY'S, I believe.
And then saw a sparkling production of just about the most flawless farce ever-- NOISES OFF, at Everyman Theatre.
I believe one of my fondest memories was repurchasing a couple of the FIRST comics (high-qual copies off eBay..) my Dad ever bought me and showing them to him in his final years..(my originals were long since tossed, ripped, or beyond even 'reader' condition).
I guess it was a good way for me to say 'thank you'..., for igniting the imagination of a goofy young kid who was home sick for a week back in 1969..
